Guide

What is poké?

A poké bowl is a Hawaiian dish: fish or chicken in cubes, with vegetables, sauces and toppings in one bowl. At SUSU you choose from beef, spicy salmon, salmon, chicken, spicy chicken and ebi tempura, among others.

Where does it come from?

Poké comes from Hawaii. There the word means something like cutting into pieces: traditionally fish in cubes, with salt and seaweed. The bowl with vegetables, sauce and toppings is the modern version you now see everywhere.

What is in it at SUSU

The salmon bowl has salmon, teriyaki sauce, corn, avocado, cucumber, edamame, carrot, cherry tomatoes, sesame, masago and peanuts.

The Utrecht menu has 12 bowls: beef, spicy salmon, salmon, chicken, spicy chicken, ebi tempura, crispy chicken, veggie, Mexican, deluxe, vegan chicken and cooked salmon.
